Thank you, thank you, yes, thank you so much for having me here. So my name is Reverend Alison G. Daniels. I am an international bestselling author of over twenty three books. I've written forty plus books. I am the CEO and founder of AGD Publishing Service. I am a mother, a wife, a grandmother, and a caregiver. And I received the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. I retired after thirty eight years of working in the federal government in the legal field, and I am a licensed mist all right, Ellison, thank you for sharing that with us and with our audience today. Well, I know you and just you reading that stuff off to us to the clients. You have my plate so full I could eat for a year anyway. You're amazing and I appreciate what you do. Now, what I want to ask is what does empowered to win mean so that our audience could understand as you move forward. Yes, so thank you, Thank you for asking me that. So I actually stand on the three p's. So I stand on And what I mean by that is you are empowered to win.

5:48 So you are empowered to win means that you have to build up your confidence. You have to be empowered yourself in order for you to empower someone else. And then you have to embrace who you are as a person, who you are within yourself, and then know that you are equipped, that you have everything that you need on the inside for you to be able to succeed and for you to be able to lead within the authority that you have. Okay, that is marvelous. That's a brief synopsis, and that is that clarifies us moving forward in the show. Now, the next question I would like to ask you sence you. I know you're twenty one time best selling international author and publisher. Who is your target audience and how have you assisted in So that's a great question. So my target audience is definitely women, leaders, entrepreneurs, coaches, teachers, and executives. So I am admitted to empowering and equipping women with the twos to encourage them to write this story, share their story, and publish their story. So I have helped them, you know, get on to various stages, get onto different platforms and sharing their story and podcasting and getting into different fields where they can actually share

7:24 their expertise. So my expertise and what I do is help them to articulate and to be precise in what they're doing when they're sharing their stories. That is amazing. And I can say that I am the receiver of several of your projects and you're telling the truth. That's what I like about your integrities. High you say what you're gonna do, you put it in writing, and then you take action in it and give it to your top. Now this other one is what is your compelling vision and how do you develop leadership strategies? So you know, I kind of that's a great question because I use this even and what I do with my business is three things that I do, probably for it's time management, is that I focus in on time management. I focus in on decision making, creating my to do list, and I stick with my to do list. And then I also I write things down and then I prioritize things to make sure that I stick to the plan that I have set before me. So in me strategizing things, I make sure that I stick with the plan. And so that's how I'm able

8:54 to lead others is because I set a specific and then I stick to it. And I have to agree with you and that sticking to the plan and prioritizing things. Because this is Women's History Month and women from all over the world hopefully will be watching this podcast, And I say, sometimes, you know, we you know, like you said, the pletter of things. You know, you don't just have the publishing company, but your wife, your caregiver, your mother, your auntie, and your everything to everybody else. So we have to prioritize which ties onto the time management, managing your time wisely so that you can do those things that are priority for you.

9:46 And I like to tell people, you know, your faith and your family comes first. Everybody else take a number, because if you try to do everything else on your plate, you're not going to accomplish half of them. And then sometimes you have to carry it from your your A list to the next day to your B list, and then there are other things you're going to be added on to your B list. So that is really key and on point. And I'm glad you said that for those ladies that are out there and say, oh, I can't do all this, Well, if you can do all this and there's too much on your plate, you need to take some of that food off your plate, you know, like take some of those tasks off your plate. We just had a session. This passed a couple of weeks ago, and I went to a retreat and that's one of the things they told us. They gave us a plate, a paper plate, and had us a segmented segment it down and tell us to put those things that meant the most to us, you know, put your priorities, and then look at those things that you can delegate and give to someone else. And we do that well, I do that very well.

11:00 Now, So thank you for sharing those really key points. Now you have exceptionally succeeded as an archer with Best Sellers Award and all of that in a bag of chip. What would you say are some of the ways you have been able to help lead and direct women entrepreneurs with their gifts that they bring to the table. So some of the things that I would say that I have been able to And that's a good question. So some of the things that I have been able to help other women with getting onto platforms is being able to connect them to other powerful women and being able to get on too different podcasts, being able to get onto different platforms. I'm working on a Last year, I did a virtual three day summit retreat and now I'm getting ready to work on a future retreat prayerfully and working on a live retreat that will be coming up hopefully in August. And so helping them to meet other powerful women and to connect that way. And so we're definitely on different magazines, you know, and just being able to connect globally on someone else's platforms

12:31 and connecting makes a difference. Yes, And I like that you say that that is very important, you know, the collaboration and the connecting when you have a team, when you build a team of professional women or professional men, because this is for men as well. Yes, you have the opportunity to expand your territory. You know, you have the opportunity to network outside you know, your small group, but you must have a team that will be effective and sufficient to do the things that you're called to do. I like that when I collaborate with you and those other professional women's as we all get together. We we meet as a team number one first, and then additionally after we build that team, after you build that team. What we do is we have the different women that have their own magazines, their own platform, radio, TV or whatever, and we maximize our coverage by working together. You know, I know everyone out there must have heard together.

13:46 Everyone achieves more. Yes, together, everyone achieve more. Why duplicate? We bring our own uniqueness. But why duplicate a platform? One is one is already there that you can collaborate with. And you know, some people collaborate just for a minute. But I know we have been collaborating for a long long time before you even had your publishing company. So that's what I like about you. You're very honest. We both try to grow and empower future leaders, grow and empower future entrepreneurs, future women and men, you know, but they successful women. Doctor Madlyn Lewis. She has a goal and that goal is to be touching and reaching a million women. And these platforms that she is doing here, she is going to make her goal.

14:45 In fact, she made her first step I think over AE hundred thousand, so she's she is going to make her goal and we're going to help her to do that. And that's what it's all about. You know. Everybody gets everybody gets to participate, everybody gets to shine. You know, it's no jealousy in there in our team. You know, we all have our own, like I said, uniqueness, and that's how we we work together. We stick together, and we pray together. Yes, yes, okay, let's all go on and on that note. The next question. As an inspirational and motivational speaker, what topics do you speak on at events or conferences or even in the UH in churches. You know, share some of those you know, topics with us and any elaborator if you could just elaborate on some of the things that you do with those topics. Yes, so, thank you, thank you so much. So. Some of the topics that I speak on is empowering women to win my thirty day right to finish book writing programs. So I definitely speak on that the power of collaboration, and then most of my topics support the ministry and or whatever platform that I am blessed to grace. It lines up with whatever the subject matter is at

16:18 hand, and if it's at a women's conference or if it's grace and the pulpit, I am in line and in order to to speak on that. And I have been blessed to speak on many platforms and I'm aligned with what that is and the power of the story or the spoken word, and I have spoken different places. So women in power to Win is what I really you know, focus in on empowering and uplifting women and making sure that their story and their voice is being heard. And that's good though you talk about empowered with empowering women to win under inspirational side, because I know you and the clergy as well, So tell us a little bit about those things that you do to help women grow in their ministry. So one of the things that I have been doing is coaching behind the scenes. Is coaching and empowering women to lead with their voice is meaning that you know, once you get ready to rise up into the purpose and the plan that God has for you.

17:44 You have to begin to take back your life and start studying more, praying more, and gain a deeper relationship with God so that when you step out on faith, that you will know that God has called you to do such as what He's calling you to do. I've also I'm an I'm an avid reader of the Bible, and so as a former Sunday school teacher, and not that I'm a former Sunday school teacher, but teaching Sunday school, teaching little Sunday School. I don't know what they call them now, little Lambs, Sunday School, Women's Sunday School. I've been teaching for many years now and just helping and empowering women to you know, just equipping them to be able to step out and lead. That's very good because, like you said, some women said they have been called, you know, they heard from God and they have been called. And you asked them, what what are you doing to grow in the ministry? Well, I don't really know.

18:56 They should be praying every day two three times a day, and at least I do. And it doesn't have to be along prayer, just pray, you know, and not only that, you have to empower yourself. You have to read. You have to pick books that are relevant in your craft, relevant in the ara that you want to become proficient in. And so I say to those women, I said, I challenge you women that's out there. You just want to say your call and then you want to sit in the pulpit right away. But are you equipped? Are you educated?

19:40 And not saying they're not educated, But I like to tell people, you just have to be anointing. If you know you have that anointing that God has put on you. And I know, Alison, you have that anointed You skip some of this stuff because you send out messages with scriptures every day and sometimes you add a challenge or a little task on there, you know, So that is very powerful there. And if you know, and I like to say, you have to have the Word inside of you. You know, you have to have at least one or two scriptures that if somebody says something to you, you could just be able to at least quote a structure. You won't have to come through the Bible to see it.

20:23 Or you just give them a prayer. You just say a prayer with him, and I have witnessed you doing that, you know, on various tums and various media things that we have shared together. Now, for you have any suggestions for an individual that's starting in a woman or man that's starting in ministry, just give me two points that you would compel them to do before they say they want to get into the ministry. If they're already calling anointing, it's nothing you can tell anybody that knows that they've heard from God.

21:07 But there are two things that they should be sure of before they step out on faith, because you know, when we step out on faith, the devil is busy, yes, very busy. So two things that you can share with him, because I know you're very experienced in your ministry, that they should be thinking of once they get that calling and that anointing. You know, definitely, I would always say, seek God, you know, definitely, make sure that you're constantly seeking God, you know, seek God so that you'll see God and you'll you'll know for sure, you'll know for sure, sure that you know, you know that God called you, so that you'll be girded up and you'll be strengthened when you stand out and you step out another thing. Stay prayed up. Always stay prayed up. Pray without ceaseing, so that your confidence will not fail you. You know, the more you prayed up, the more you'll be filled up in the word of God. Because if you're constantly praying, you know, it's almost like the fear and the attacks and the things that are gonna come up against you, it's gonna be pushed down, it's gonna you know, it's gonna be smaller because you're constantly in prayer. So the more that I pray, the

22:40 more that I feel my confidence in the Lord building me up. So I would say, you know, the two things I would say, you know, constantly keep seeking God and constantly keep praying. Because if God called you, God has already equipped you. You already have everything that you need down on the inside. You don't have to seek man or woman. You don't have to look to the left or to the right. You don't have to try and figure things out. God is gonna He's already given you everything that you need. You just have to walk out on faith. But you want to make sure that when you walk out on faith, that you know that you're sure, that you're sure that you're sure because people are gonna come at you from every angle. And I'm the living witness because that's where I am right here. I'm gonna live. Yeah, And I know because I've read I wasn't in that ontology, but I've read one, you know, one of your books. Unshakable. Yes, Faith, we must be unshakeable.

23:45 I like to say, we could be unstoppable. If you're called, you're gonna have the obstacles, but you're gonna be You must be unshakeable, unstoppable, unbothered period. Because whether you're doing well or you're not doing well, people are gonna talk, but they'll talk more when you're not doing well. You know, when you're not doing so the you know when you're not doing well, period and some and then sometimes you lose friends because they hate to see you progressing and excellence. So the devil just put in their mind or they put in their own minds. I don't want to have to deal with her, you know, I got to compete with her. We don't have any competition in our group, thank god. But we are connected not only by the anthology, but we are connected spiritually. That's why I think our group is really powerful. Because when you are connected spiritually, you know, have that kindred spirit, you can tell, you can tell who you're not gonna work with, you're gonna tell, could tell who's going to be a friend, and who's not gonna be a friend. You know, who's gonna block you. When you know all of that kind of thing. But you have to be unbothered because you have to be unstoppable and you have to be faithful in what God has called you to do. And I did a session

25:19 with one of my coaches, and I was when he asked me, what is that one thing that kept me from progressing, you know, to the next level for a long time, And it was men, you know, mostly men telling women what they're supposed to do. I'm not supposed to do. They put a lid on us. Oh you could do this much, Okay, you called it the ministry. Well, I want you to do X, Y Z, and that's not what you've been called to do, you know. I thought Sunday School, I did the academy, the Bible Academy. And the thing about it is when you're called to evangelize, because that's my gift in evangelism, they want to put you in finance or something that you're not called to do. You know you're not. I'm not called to handle money. I don't even balance my check book. And that's the honest truth. I have not balanced my checkbook for decades, really, but I know there's some change in there. So don't tell me to handle the finances, you know, X y z oh, don't call me to work with five year old and below. I love kids, right, I've did my share in that working with these young kids. I did my share.

26:44 But at this season in my life, I don't think I have the patience to deal with young and the noise. You know, they're grabbing, you know, and whatever. And I love kids, but that's not my calling in this season. That's somebody, yes, call it. You know. You can't add someone to work with younger kids that don't that their kids are grown now and they probably have grand kids, you know. If you don't have brand kids, you might have a grand dog like I do. Yeah, but I know you have beautiful grandkids. So I am glad that you share that. We must be prepared and equipped, but we must remain unshakable, unstoppable, and faithful to the word, you know, And we got to step out on faith, even if at the time we don't step into the deep waters. We need to just step out and move out, take baby steps if we have to, and seek a mentor, a true mentor.

27:45 I don't mentor a whole lot of people now because mentoring this generation is a little bit different. You know. They want to come and take two or three mentoring classes, and they want to get paid, or they want to be in the same position you are. That requires growth, experience, trial and error, and that's what I tell them, and I know you have experienced that yourself. All right, So I am I have another question to ask you, as a speaker in in clergy. What is one topic that you could expound on. And this doesn't have to be clergy for women only. It could be clergy for those growing into the ministry. Just one topic. I know you said seek God first. We always have to do that. God first, Family second, everybody else take a number. You know that's me right there. I'll tell you in a minute. So all right, just tell us something that can help our listening audience out there in reference to growth within clergy. And it doesn't have to necessarily in a church.

29:02 I know that some pastors. You know they have started with seven people and they got over ten thousand or twenty thousand, even thirty thousand individuals in their congregational but as a stepping stone for them, so that they'll know, tell us something that can help those things. They're gonna get rich by going into clergy right away. Listen, don't listen. Don't allow the distractions to stop you from doing what God is calling you to do. Don't allow the things that are going on around you right now to stop you from what God is calling you to do. We're gonna have distractions every day. Things are going to come up in our life every day. When you know that God has a calling on your life and that there's assignment that He is calling you to do, don't let that stop you. Distractions are going to happen.

30:03 Things are gonna happen. Distractions are gonna They're put in place to stop you. But you have to be strong enough. You have to stay focused long enough to be able to get past the distractions so that you can carry out the assignment. Because somebody is waiting to hear what God has called you to do. And if every time a distraction comes you stop the assignment. Someone has falling by the wayside because you decided to give up. Listen, get past the distractions, get past the fear, Get past what people are saying about you, because they talked about our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

30:44 But we have to get past it. We have to move on. We have to press forward and let go of the distractions because someone needs what God has specifically for you. No one can do what God has called me to do. I can't do, Doctor Amisia has been called to do. No one can do what God has called me to do. It is time for me to rise and take my place and get in position. Yes, I love it, I love it. I love it. And you're absolutely right. The distractions that derailments because people will derail you. And you know that's why you have to know your circle and know the proclimity of this circle.

31:25 Who is in your circle? Are they there really to support you or are they dare to just dab you in the back? You know? And and so distractions derailment. And we know I don't want to give him too much, Fred, that devil. You know, we are women empowered to win, women in power to win, and we will rise I think doctor Lewis, you know she had uh seminar. Also, women are and call called rise up. You know, rise up. This is the season, this is the year for women to take their place. They take their seat at the table if necessary. And if you don't have a seat at the table, just build your own, grow your own, build your own table.

32:19 I like to say, I don't. I'm looking right now over the pond or the retention, the river what they called waterfront property here where I live, and I like to say, you know, there are a lot of fish in there, but I don't want but half of that is mine. I don't want to fishing somebody else pond. I want to have my own pond. You know. For now, you know I am sharing the pond, But you want to have your own so that you can grow. And they not only grow for yourself, but grow for others and leave a legacy behind for your family. Leave in a legacy for your family. Important.

33:00 My parents left a legacy for me, and I want to leave a bigger legacy for my family. And when it comes to really working in ministry, it's you have a Sometimes you have a different circle in ministry for than working outside of ministry or working in clergy, because everyone is not a fit to be in your circle and you're not a fit to be in theirs. So the derailment, the destruction, the distraction and everything else, you just have to watch that. You have to be careful about that. And you have been so good at doing that. I just can't give you enough praise for that. You have been very good in doing that. And I I am looking at we still have about ten more minutes. I want you to tell us more about the thirty Day Right to Finish book. You know, writeing a chapter or antology. A lot of people say, oh, I can write a book, Yes you can, you know if you just take one paragraph at a time. Yes, it may not be. It may not be the way. It's the verbiage, you know, and it might you might have an adjective not here or a verb not here or whatever. But just write like you speak, or write like it comes out of your mind,

34:36 and then you know, Alison, it'll tell you what the rest to do. You know? Yes, yes, so the thirty Day Right to Finish Book writing program. So I actually am sitting like right here with you and I'm showing you through modules how to start writing your first chapter, and I take you through an outline. I take you through how writing your first chapter, how to begin it. I actually show you what you need to do to find ideas. I go through the time management with you. I go through you, you know, picking certain verbiage for how you need to actually get started the content, and bringing you through just finding certain stories.

35:24 We don't really realize how you know, there's a story written every day, someone is saying something that we can catch every day. And until you get around someone like myself that can actually help you build that story or build that chapter or write that book, you really don't know how impactful someone that has already written forty one books can really be in your life to actually help you get started. And I actually help you with writing that first chapter. And then once you write that first chapter, and once you write that second chapter, you're actually able to continue with writing a book and getting started. I've helped now to date, over forty fifty four women write their books. Now, I've had two men in the class. They haven't written their books yet, but at least they've written a chapter. Because I actually do not let you finish without or complete the class without at least finishing a chapter, because my goal is not just to make money, but my goal is to help you complete your story because I believe that you should leave a legacy your story, Your story matters, and I believe that you should be able to write your story and leave a legacy for the next generation because you survived it and

36:59 you should be able to write it, share it and let your family know. This is what I survived and this is what I came through. So the thirty day Right to Finish book writing program or the anthology like what you see here. Everyone isn't equipped to write a whole book, but why not share that one chapter and take that one chapter to the next level. And so that's where I created the how to write a chapter for an anthology And it has really been taken off just by writing one chapter in someone else's book or in one of my anthologies, because God has gifted me to be able to tell to help others to do that. Thank you so much. And you said that, you said that very well, because not everybody is equipped to write a book right away, but everyone has a story. They're good, they're bad, and the ugly, and it might be your good you're bad and the ugly, but it may help someone else, you know, to evolve. And most of the times we don't want to go to the ugly. We just want to write the positive side of anything that we experience because that's where it would inspire or lead someone else to grow in their areas of insufficiency. At the time, Allison, you have been so wonderful.

38:30 I wanted to say something else, but I don't know. But all I could say is keep doing what you're doing. And this is what I wanted to say. For those of the listening audience out there. I would I would encourage you, and I'm sure doctor Lewis has did this many times, but we're gonna just throw the ice cream on top of her cake. And I would encourage you to invest in a mentor invest in a coach and your investment in the mentorship or a coaching ship will get you sponsors. People sometimes are watching you behind the scenes, and I'll give you an example of that.

39:16 I know when I first started, I mean for five years, I was just investing in nothing happening, you know, But I would speak it everywhere, whether it was a boy scout, girls coup, you know, the disabled bed, the rotary clubs, the library. There's so many places that you can go and speak. Once you get your chapter written, you write a list of different things places that you can go, and it may be free for now. And somebody that had been watching you for three or four or five years, all of a sudden, you know, my growing up empirent future Leaders, now it took off. You know, somebody behind the scenes that was watching me and I I didn't know. They bought several cases of what I had, and I had him on Amazon. I didn't really know until I start looking at certain things, you know, you look at your accounts, and then you'll see what they happened. Well, where is this coming from? God is good? That's all I have to say.

40:21 God is good, and he's not good to Campbell's Campbell's soup. He is good all by himself. He don't need to be, you know, compared to you know, Campbell's soup or anything like that.
