Well, today's topic is going to be one that we've had before, but this is going to be part two, and my guest is going to be someone who has been here on several occasions and he's going to be discussing it. The topic today is no black on black crime, but we're going to go into part to see what has been going on with that movement, and my guest is mister Keith Turner. Let me just

3:07 give you a little bit of background about him. Keith Turner is claimed as the top personal and group trainer in the DMB and is rated as one of the top trainers across the nation. He has over nine five hundred and fifty three clients with ninety nine percent success rate, which is unmatched anywhere. He is the founder and director of the new No Black on Black Crime movement that he introduced to the US on Monday, October twenty third through press release. The movement was officially launched on Friday, December one through December second through December third correction. There During these dates, Keith asked every black adult and teenager to come together as one, halt the violence and show the world and the doubters that we can come together and truly show unity. He asked that there be no black on black crime across the United States during those days. So he's back today to talk to us about the No Black on Black Crime movement and what's going on now. Oh thank you, Madeline, doctor Madelin. How are you? I am doing very well, Keith. You know that video definitely makes a statement, and it definitely makes you think and it touches the heart. So I know that you started this back in October and then you officially launched it in December of twenty twenty three, the first, second and the third, So tell us what has been going on? You know, how did that launch go off during that time frame? Well, it was, it was in my opinion, it was very successful. Unfortunately, in my opinion also one murder is one too many. Now, trying to be realistic with this. The record, the scores came in at the end of

6:39 the year that the DMV there were nine hundred and fifty eight carjackings for twenty twenty three. That's just carjackings. That wasn't the shootings, the murderers, the stabbings and all other stuff. So it was just it was nine hundred and fifty eight carjackings, which averages out to be seventy nine eight carjackings per month, which averages out to be twenty per weekend. That's just carjackings again, And what we did was we cut into everything significantly. We did December first, second, and third. We had so many people commit to being a part of the movement and coming together as one to stop the violence that was going on and the criminal acts. So we ended up being five car jackings for the entire weekend, five carjackings, five car jackings, two shootings and one stabbing, or the entire the entire weekend. And so I consider that a huge success based on just twenty carjackings alone not count We didn't even count the shootings, the murders and the stabbings and everything else. So I thought it was highly successful. So you feel that this was the outcome that you expected, or you were you you kind of was hoping for a little more as far as maybe participation and different things like that. Was it what

8:13 you expected? It really wasn't what I expected, But you know, the viewers have to understand I had high expectations on everything, on everything that I do. So you know, what I was expecting was to be able to reach across to the West coast. We didn't actually reach every state going across the West coast, although we've reached some states. The problem that I came into was one trying to find out what was the reviews, what were the ratings, the crime ratings in the other states. That was a challenge. And getting the message across and I've come to find out and doing this movement and being involved with so many public officials and past hey, look we're keeping this real pastors and and and the media. You know, the only media that really came on board was Channel four to kick it off, and they were in it seriously. But you can't get this message across from the East Coast to the West coast without the media's health. So we had to go underground. We went what you call social media, which which was great, but it didn't reach everybody who we wanted to reach and to be able to set up things to get get the movements going like we really wanted to get going. But so that was the disappointing part for me. Other than that we had to tune it back a little bit and come come back into the D and V to get to find out what the statistics were, everything before and after. So you know, now it gives me a different view on

9:45 everything. And and I got a reality check on on life for real, how our people are, how the media is, and how politics are politicians are. Yeah, so tell us. Can you tell us what some of the feedback that you've had on the movement since you started? Okay, all right, as far as the feedback is concerned, keeping it real, I've gotten so many positive responses from some Pakistanians, that's what the title would be. Some people from that are from Pakistan, A lot of whites, a couple of Asians. Of course, I got a lot of feedback, positive feedback from from us. But I got no negative from the other races, not one, not one from us. The negativity came from us, and it was on crazy little dumb things. Why you have to name it black?

10:41 Why has black got to be in front of it? And and you know my board members who were created were there. God put me with some sharp people from from lawyers to doctors to the average truck driver to gang members. I mean, it consists in order for you to reach out solve this, you have to touch every area of life, just about with the game members that are on board with us. Now, the thing about it is it, you know, people came with this little dumb stuff. Well I can't. I don't want to be a part of it because we're black. Is on time? I mean, you know, I mean really and I'm like, you know, really, okay. Well, one thing is to answer that are you offended by Black Friday? Are you offended by Black America because I'm Black America? Because I'm not black? This is black, not black, I'm brown. If you want to get offended by someone who something that's legit, you understand, you know, Black Friday and all these other things you know that start with black. You know so. And then the other part is this. I had to ask some people downtown when we were doing the march who were saying, you know, they were offended by the fact that it's black, and I said, okay, you know why, I'm sorry. They were offended by the fact that why can't we just do all no crime period? You know, I would be a part of it, and you wouldn't stop stop because what did you do yesterday or a year ago, for a whole year towards violence? Nothing, absolutely nothing. What did you wake up this morning on your mind? What was on your mind to stop the violence? Period? Nothing? What do you have planned that's right too, What do you have planned for tomorrow in twenty twenty four?

12:18 Absolutely nothing. So these are just people that's gonna waste your time. And my belief with God is this, you cannot be distracted by a lot of nonsense. They're gonna come on board. They're not gonna worry about the word black because we're trying to before I can go clean up anybody else's homes, Hispanics and whites and anybody else. My thing is this, clean up your house first. Make sure your house is cleaned first before you go clean somebody else's. Because it is true, whether anybody here is hearing this or not, we are killing each other. Stop if you can. If you're not in tune to this and seeing in the news, you're trying to act like you're offended by this, then get offended. Stay offended, but you're not doing anything about it. Let me calm down, okay, tell me I knew that you're very passionate about this. I've been, you know, around you since you started this. So tell us what are your plans now that the No Black on Black Crime movement launch has taken place? What are your plans now since you both truly put it out there, and what do you want to do now the next move? We have quite a few moves set up, but the next move is February, the month of February right now.

13:24 They start the day with this Friday. You know, we have a bunch of events set up throughout the month of February, and you can go on our website anybody who's listening is No Black Crime, No Blackcrime dot com. And then we have a lot of events, especially starting this weekend where we actually have raised a lot of money through selling popcorn and everything else, you know, and we're going to be giving away a lot of money this weekend, just giving it away, and because we want you to start touching bases with your history again. There are too many people who don't know about our history. So one of our plans is to have a lot of this Black History Month is to educate our people about our people. You know, we have lost where we've come from. Amazing one young lady at the December first, second third celebration when we did it, when we completed it, she was she's fifteen years old, and she said she thought that she didn't know what the underground railroad road was. And her mother was staying there, and her mother said, I'm taking the blame for that. And I said, you don't know what the underground railroad is? She said, no, I thought it was a real underground railroad. Well, don't laugh view us, because as your grandkid, if they know what the underground railroad is, we have lost. We put so much on the schools. But yet at the same token, if you pay attention to what I'm about to say, the schools have turned it. Not just the schools, the media has turned it because they want to air violence. And back in our day, we used to see Black History Month. You would see Jamie Pittman roots something showing

14:58 us getting deep by by the police and they're blackjacks and spread it down by the water holes and the dog sits on us, but showing unity of us sticking together. And they've gotten away from that. And I know the reason why we don't time to go into it, but they've gotten away from showing that because when they did show that. What did we do back then? We all pulled together because we constantly saw how we were being treated anyway, so we weren't treating each other like that. Now they've blinded so many of our youth that they forget where we came from, or they don't know we came from. And some on adults who were I'm at they don't. They've forgotten where we've come from. And they are not educating their kids themselves, and neither are the schools. And so with that, they're not showing the unity that we used to have, nor that the fact that we need unity now in order for us we are a strong race. I used to think that was the same. We are a strong race if we can just come together. But everybody schedule is too busy, nobody wants to do anything after this is over with, and you know, and we just don't pull together.

15:58 But look how fast the Jews pulled together when they came into town about a month ago. And they put that together so fast that they got to permit and everything else. They flew people in from all over the around the world, kids out of school and everything else. They came in here made a serious thing, very quiet, peaceful, wise of me, and they left. You did hear any kind of disruption, no nonsense or anything us. I got people that don't want to be a part of this because it's black or men because it's leading. I had a pastor who runs a whole past Baptist organization and all the bishoes were in, all the passes were in a meeting when I went to speak on zoom and he told me, I don't want to be a part of it. Not we don't want to be a part. I don't want to be a part of egos. And the pastor who led me to them for them to hear me, he came on right away and apologized to me for a hour, was treated. And there was another pastor that got in touch with me who was there to see that I really apologized for our leader. You know, he should have asked us, you know, but you know, this is what I'm dealing with.

17:03 This is amazing. I'm telling you, I've had serious eye opening. So we're planning for February and every week we have something special going on. And you have really got to tune in to see all the events that we have going on. Talk shows and everything else. Oh okay, so you're gonna have events all around the city or to be in one place or you know, how are you going to be doing this? It's basically it's like it's not one place, so I would say around the city, but it's around the United States. You can tune in, They're gonna tune in. People are gonna tune in through through zoom and YouTube and everything else live to be able to participate. Especially the first one is starting this weekend, so you know, I definitely encourage everybody to look. Go in there and see the first one that's going on. Answer these trivia questions. See how much you know, See how much you know about our people, about your race, See how fast you can answer the question. Because whoever comes out with the highest answer, they're don't want some money. I'm not talking fifty dollars and ten dollars. We're talking about money just for answer questions. Okay, okay, So what are you doing now to gain support? Because I know when you did it before in December it was the early part of December, and then of course we had the you know, Christmas holiday in there and different things like that. So what are you doing now? To gain support and pick up the momentum for the movement. Right so, we're still researching underground.

18:30 We got ready to have our commercial that you was supposed to be released on Fox five. Unfortunately it basically I got caught up into a scam. So, you know, God is good pulled us out yesterday at the last minute, you know, and it was just you know, so we have to go underground. But right now our plan is to put men, and we're swamped with women. But women have done so much. You all have done so much for so long. You have carried us so long. It's time for us to stand up and be the men who run the streets, not just run our house. See that old saying now about Madeline about it takes a village to raise a child. They're not just talking about when we were in our neighborhood and somebody snitching. You know, you got their nosy neighbor, which was always a pleasure to have them who saw everything, was always snitching on people. We're not talking about that. We're talking about people who you don't know, because like my family being murdered, Okay, I didn't have that father to show me how to be a man. Well, you know it was it was it was me learning how to relate to my family through Bill Cosby, watching the Bill Cosby Show, because I saw he had fun with his family, he communicated with he got his point across, but it was no cursing and all that other stuff. You know. So I learned a lot off of TV. But unfortunately that's what they're doing now, because that's what a lot of these they they're they're glamorizing themselves on this crime. I don't mean to skip the subject. They're glamorizing themselves on this crime. You know. And if they're adopting and thinking it's okay, they had become desensitive to killing somebody. And they're learning all this stuff off of

20:03 TV, off the music they listen to. And it is what it is, the lack of the father in the house. You know that the mother turning who wants to be a mother, is turning her her work over to her her mother who was the grandmother, you know, because she wants to steal rip them on the streets because she was fifteen or sixteen trying to have a baby, don't know how to be a mom. You know. They went from shooting guns like this back in the day to shooting them now all because of TV. So what I'm looking for now is I'm looking for the men to step up and come. We have some men, we have some good strong men, but we need a lot more because these young men out here in the streets, sorry, no disrespect, they're not really going to follow you the women. So had we need the men to come up and say hey, look and we can relate to each other. And so we do have some men coming on now even more, but we need to need you all to talk to your husbands. They're never too old, but we need you to talk to your husbands and have your husbands talk to your son and say, look, son, this is a father's son thing. Let's get to get let's be a part of the organization. Let's see what it's about. And then other than that, you know, we need the other men who have organizations going. We need to all come together and put something together. And we do have a lot of groups that have joined in with us now, but we need all these groups that I'm doing research on that I'm connecting out to to say, look, let's come together and be unified in our movements. We're all doing some of the same things. But let's put it together and you still do your thing. We're still going to do ours. But when we need to come together to do a huge movement, we can get this message out there. Because everybody knows somebody, and we pull all our resources together, we can get a lot more done. So

21:36 is there when you ask for you know, are looking for support. Is there some type of system you have where people can you know, reach out to you for this support to give you or what specifically are you looking for? Do you just need them to you know, maybe send out information or come to your and pick up some flyers and send them out. Tell us what exactly type of support do you need from the viewers out there? Oh, I love you, I love you great questions. We don't need them to really come and do much. We just need you to, Hey, sit us your laptop, send out all the information what's going on through everybody who you who you have in your in your Facebook, on your Facebook, I don't know all these terminologies, and on your social media period. Send it out on everybody who you know on your phone. It doesn't take a lot of work. You don't have to go out there in march. We're not marching like that, so we don't need you to go out there in march. We need you to go out there, have your and you pledge also have them pledged to say, look, come on our website, pledge give us your name, your website or telephone them that we can get in touch with you. We'll feel you know what's going on. They say, this is a movement. Can you start this down there? We'll send people down there where you are, to Los Ange over there at Los Angeles to help you get started, etcetera, etcetera, et cetera. Can you lead by example? Can we start something everywhere? And we're not asking for money from you? You know this, this this thing came out of my pocket.

23:03 I'm just blessed. And that was that was money, that was my savings. You can't get seventy for something something something seventy some thousand dollars back like that, And I'm like, lord, wait a minute, I don't have it like that. Fortunately, you know, people have come together and heard what I've done and they're like, hold up, you can't do this like that by yourself. That's your money that you can't You have no longer take to save up seventy some thousand dollars and for people. You're doing it for people who who sometimes you feel like don't even give a dad. So you know, we have people come in who come in and like you know, done fundraisers or giving me money to say, look, I want to give this back to you. You put this in for our people. I'm giving some of your money back to you. So I've been blessed to try to get some of my money back. But I just want people to We just need people to come in help us spread the word. If somebody wants to be active on the board, you can be active on the board.

23:51 If you don't want to, like your schedules to busy, just be a member and then when we're telling you what's going on at tend the meetings and you can start spreading the word. Most members are going to do one or two things. Read the word. Well, when we become a huge rally, get here and come to the rally. That's it. That's good, that's what that's what they need to do, just to continue to reach out to other people. Now, one of the things I heard you say that your video was supposed to be played on the network, but apparently something happened. So even the video, you can mask send the video out to to their to the list, and of course it is on just in case you didn't know, the video is on YouTube. So all you would have to do is go on YouTube, find the video and actually you could probably pull it, pull it up by putting Keith Turner's name in the search box.

24:44 It should come up, and then you just hit the share button and send it out to all your friend's family, what have you. And that would also push the video out more to to get that information out and to ow people, uh what this movement is about, because the video definitely does make a statement. So uh course that I had for you too. Uh. I know that you started this and you've been doing it, and you also mentioned that you do have a board that of people that you put together that are helping you with this. But my question is will you continue to be the voice and face of the movement or will you look to bring in others such as you know, celebrities, large companies, maybe sponsors, et cetera to help you push this movement forward. Oh no, I have to this is bigger than I thought it was going to be. I'm gonna have to We definitely have to have help, you know, to move this. Uh So we need we're gonna, you know, we getting sponsors. I'm looking to get sponsors. We're looking too. We're going to become a nonprofit organization.

25:56 Real soon that that paperwork and stuff is are in. They're in the work with that. Uh So, if we can partner with other organizations, you know, if the churches will come aboard, you know, and set some pastors will come up and set some egos aside, you know, and and and come in and say, listen, your job is to stop balance anyway. You're supposed to be peaceful. You're supposed to be about peace. You know, I'm true. You have to also understand their shoes. They they don't know me, didn't know me. Well, I get the door sat under my face from the from a lot of people on the media at first, you know, all my own state attorney, you know, I don't know if I can call the name out. I don't know if that's that's I do that. But my own state attorney was like, I don't want to be a part of it. I say, WHOA just because again because she doesn't want to be a part of it, but it's not about you. And now that this thing has gotten off the ground and it's gotten the membership has grown so big and and and the following, the followers are you know, millions right now, just that fast. Now people are having an ear to me, and the doors are open and people are calling for interviews and everything else. Now you understand what I'm saying. So but that's that's good, but still not not my state attorney. And they could have and it really didn't need her, but it would have been good that she could have done something. But she was like, you know, I don't want to say no black on black crime because I have Hispanics that I lead and whites that I lead, so I don't want to. And I'm like, well, you know what, they're gonna respect you more if they say, wow, you know what, she stepped out there to help that race.

27:29 And she stepped out there to help that race. She stepped up there to help that race individually, to make sure she but you know, you don't see nothing except for when some little girl got killed. And now I saw her marching in front of the family. Girl's been dead over a year. They did a you know, a reunion on the family thing, or of the girl's murder, and this she's out front. She wasn't then when the girl first got killed. But the election is coming around, and so this is the thing about it. We need people that are sincere, that are for real. We need you all to stop putting people in office before you do your research. You understand, do your research, because it stop letting them put their friends in office. It's who they know, who they want to bring up behind them to take this spot when they move out. We got to stop that. We got to do our research and know the little tricks of voting, because what I've learned from the voting is when you're voting, those names who they put up front are the ones who they really want you to vote for. The ones who they put down the bottom, do your research. Half of those people are really the ones that for that position. Do not go by the name. See the work, Go do the work. Don't watch the ones that steck out that that's there in office.

28:30 Now, if the situation is like it is now, you had years to get this taken care of. Stop putting the same people in the office. Try somebody different, Try somebody different. So tell me. When we first started out, we just kind of jumped right into the movement. But I do want to ask you what even made you want to start this entire thing? Why? Why? Why this? Why are you? Why are you? Why are you doing? You know, you got tired of waking up hearing and going to bed hearing every night us killing us and not one every night, four or five shootings and shootings here, and glass still on the ground and bodies cover it up, and you know, and and then you started hearing people say over and over, somebody's got to do something.

29:18 Somebody Who is somebody that? Somebody is you? What are you waiting for? Martin Luther King is gone? Malcolm X's is gone, MegaR is gone, everybody's gone. Who are you waiting for? It's you. You have to make a stand. One minute. You want to defund the police. Now you need the police. Make me in mind. You know what, they can't be everywhere. You gotta stand for your own neighborhood. And I'm like this, I can't talk that talk because it's something that happened to one of my kids. You understand, who am I going to put that on? What did I do to try to prevent it. So my thing is this. You know. I woke up and then they said, I know when God convicted me of this and said I'm anointing you to do this. I was like, no, no, no, no, you know the other things that you know about that other on this thing, don't know about that. He's He's had me. Do you know? It was totally successful.

30:03 I was like, little, how can I do that? It's no way. But now you know my faith, I'm not shattered at all. Now the things that I've done. I'm like, oh, okay, well Lord, if that's what you want me to do, we want to do that. And so you know, I woke up with that conviction and I was like, let's do this. But I don't know this stuff. Now, look at all the people who he's surrounded me with. Everybody press release, the President of the United States US for Obama does the press release. I mean you have everybody, Like I said, people were strong in their fields. Even when you get game members, it's like, we're going to halt the violence just because of you. Now that's saying something that's sayings. I didn't say. They didn't go back to it, but you know, well, well at least that it was a start, and you always have to start somewhere. So tell us if you had one piece of advice that you wanted to share with the viewers out there regarding the movement, what could that piece of advice be. Stand You cannot be afraid now I used to hear this, Now I understand it. You cannot be afraid to stand up for your community. You cannot be fearful to stand up for your community.

31:15 My thing is this, and I know everybody doesn't have my mindset, but my thing is this. If I'm living in fear, I'm not living. So I'd rather die trying to make a life for my son, my grandkids, my kids, my grandkids after those grandkids, grandkids, grandkids, whatever it would be. You understand there are too many people, Maddland and the viewers who are listening to me, listen to this, please. There are too many people who died for you to be where you are, to those who listener to be at work today, for you to have that job, to be able to go into the front of a restaurant, to be able to drink from any water fountain, not whites only blasts, only a dirty black water fountain to people sit anywhere you want to sit on the bus.

31:57 I mean they were hum that testicos were cut off. They did not know you, They didn't know you, but they make They paid the ultimate price for us to be where we are. They did not die for us to sit up here and kill each other. They did not die for you to get to where you are. Now. Now you're so up with you can't even sit up there and stand for other people who you do not know. They die for you to carry the torch and start setting up things, not just for your family, but for people who you don't know, because this is a small world. Because let me tell you how small this world is. You think that with this movement, if you to stand with us and stop the violence, you don't know who you just touch, who you just put on hat for a second, because that could have been a person that was gonna shoot your grandson or carjack your husband when he went to get some gas at the gangstay station. The same guy who ruined my twelfth grade graduation cookout. I had never seen them in my life before. Never listen to this story. I never seen them in my life before ruined my twelfth grade graduation cook and my mom shot shot him and he was you know cause it He brought a gang of people around our house. We had a huge gang ourselves, family members, and so it got ready to be a big war out there and just ruined my twelfth grade graduation party. Didn't see him since six years later. I'm trying out for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Six years later, that's I'm out practicing training. My mom called me and said, can

33:29 you get my car to me? I got to get the church. On a Sunday, Me and my mom are going. I'm dropping off four blocks away from the house, dropping off the church. A car was zig zagging back and forth across the road on Ridge Road. My mother said, pull over to the curve. What is this food doing. I pulled over to the curve. I didn't have my seatbelt on the car. That the devastation was so impactful. The next thing, you know, when this whole thing was over, the doctors told me, my mom, your son is paralyzed. His football career is over. Don't know if he ever walked again. It was that same guy who ruined my graduation party. Wow, I saw him two times in my life, the one that ruined my graduation party, and the one that hit me and my mother, the drunk driver who had no license, no car insurance. So I could even sue, my football career was done. I couldn't even sue. He had no driver's license, no nothing. That same guy two times in my life. I saw him.

34:22 That's it. So if you think this world, you think I'm exaggerating, this world is smaller than you think. You never know you're making a stand to stop somebody from killing your own child. That is something that I don't think I've heard. I don't think I heard that whole story before that you told us that before. But that is incredible. So tell us, Keith, how can the viewers and the listeners reach out to you if they want to be a part of the movement, if they want to pledge, if they just want to get involved in some way, even if it's just to you know, find out how they could send out information to their network.

The people who got you that job, when I'm talking about who died for us, they had busy schedules sit even if they was in the cotton field, their schedule was busy putting in that cotton. But they found a way to get out of there to free, to make it so you're free. And then others took up the torch from there to get us the vote, and et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
